Cancellation Policy: All cancellations received on or before May 20 will be refunded the full trip fee less $100. Cancellations received after May 20 will forfeit the entire trip fee. All cancellations must be received in writing via postal mail, email or fax.
Ride Details
Luggage Transport and Support: A vehicle will transport your luggage each day to the next overnight town. Each person is allowed one soft-sided or duffel bag. SAG support will be offered, as will mechanical support.
Cost: Cost is $695 per person based on double occupancy. The trip fee includes five nights lodging (Tue-Sat), 4 breakfasts (combination of continental and hot), 3 dinners, Swiss entertainment and live music in New Glarus, entertainment in Monroe, cheese factory tour, brewery tour, baggage transport to each night’s destination, maps, SAG & mechanical support, and all the scenery and fun you can pack in! All other fees are on your own. For those who wish to stay by themselves, the single supplement is $245. The trip is limited to 50 people.
Mileage & Terrrain: Each day's ride is approximately 60-65 miles, with shorter options available on a couple of the days. This part of Wisconsin and northern Illinois, known as the driftless area, consists primarily of rolling terrain. As a result, the tour is best suited for cyclists of intermediate & above ability who don't mind doing some climbing (and descending, too!) Crushed-limestone trails exist on a portions of one of the days for those desiring a flatter route.
